BUILD UPDATE 06-03-2018

Cormorant House:

Works are progressing towards the top floor

Fittings of beds, wardrobes, tables etc. are soon to commence

Following the completion of the core walls to the staircases in February, work to install the handrails and string skirting are now well advanced at Cormorant House.

The contractor is now starting to work their way down the building to finish all units to the level of those already completed on the lower floors; in order to facilitate the fitting of beds, wardrobes, tables and chairs etc. which is set to commence shortly.

As work is nearly complete on the lower floors, focus is set to shift to the top floors with each trade working down the building in succession.

With 85% of all kitchens now fitted, the installation of vinyl flooring is progressing well in the kitchens and carpeting is continuing throughout the building.

Internal partitioning and plasterwork are now 99% completed and work to the skirting and architraves are continuing.

97% of the doors and frames to the studio apartments have been installed, whilst 75% of the corridor doors and frames have been fitted.

The mechanical and electrical second fix is also progressing at the student property, with 97% now complete.
